Diuretics Alone vs. Aortix Endovascular Device for Acute Heart Failure (DRAIN-HF)

This study is testing whether the Aortix System is safe and works better than standard medical treatment for people who are hospitalized with acute heart failure and still have excess fluid buildup (congestion) even after receiving the usual treatments.

Sex: Male or Female
Age: 18 years and over
Healthy Volunteers:
This study is NOT accepting healthy volunteers
Inclusion Criteria:
The study is looking for adults age 21 and older whose heart failure has recently gotten worse and who still have fluid overload even though standard medications, including diuretics, are not working well enough.
Exclusion Criteria:
Responding to standard diuretic therapy
